Happy Hiker Camp

Is it a fresh smell of a pine forest after the rain, a first time to see a
deer, a bullfrog, a turtle or an excitement of an adventure that makes us
enjoy the great outdoors?
Or maybe, very simply, it's that moment when you realize that the tiny
hiker beside you actually enjoys nature more than a television show or
a computer game...
The Happy Hiker Summer camp will help children understand and
appreciate the outdoors. During the hikes on various trails your child will:
-discover how to tune in and listen to nature
-recognize signs of wildlife
-learn about different types of wildlife and their habitat
-the art of reading the clouds and other weather related topics
- introduction to wilderness survival
-respect and protect the "web of life" and green spaces
We provide:
1 Round-trip transportation
2. Healthy snacks/lunch with a full day camp
3. Enthusiastic, nature loving, CPR/First aid certified hike leaders
Half or Full Day hikes are offered
- Easy hikes for 6-8 yr
- Intermediate to advance hikes for 9-12 yr.
Trips are limited to no more then 7 children, so please book early.
To make a reservation, please provide us with the following information:
1. Dates and times chosen
2. Your full name, address and phone #.
3. Total # of children, their age, height and weight.
4. Level of fitness, special health conditions (allergies etc.)
--->Next you will receive a registration package.
We will only hold your spot if your registration is complete and your full
payment is received. You can pay by cash, check or e-transfer.
Rates:
$30 per child for 1 half-day hike (round trip transportation and snacks
included)
$20 per child for 1 half-day hike (no transportation)
$45 per child for 1 full-day hike(round-trip transportation, snacks and lunch
included)
$180 per child for a 3 day all-inclusive camping adventure (list of personal
gear will be provided)
All prices are subject to HST.
